"Writing, The Update"

On a good note, the edits for my next release CRIMINAL INSTINCT have arrived! I have to say it feels good to be working on edits again and prepping a book for release. I’m also excited to be working with the awesome professionals at Carina. They have been polite, professional, and really energetic. I’m really honored to be part of their launch. Not only that, but I have the nicest editor. Her name is Liz and we have just clicked. And I’ve seen the cover. *sigh* Really awesome. I kid you not.

I’m also in the middle of writing a short story for an anthology submission. Unfortunately, my confidence has been low on the writing front for the last few months. I’ve had some hurdles in my career that have tampered with my beliefs in my skills. So not good for the productivity, right?

I know I need to believe, that I need to work harder in order to push forward and stay in the publishing game. My mind is telling me both of these things, but my heart…is not agreeing with my head. I really need to send these two to counseling!

So cross those cyber fingers for me that I can get out of this writing blo—slump! *wink*
